The New York Asian Film Festival is a festival that exhibits the bold and thriving film cultures of Asia in the United States. Film is intimately intertwined with culture and has the ability to impact others because of its ability to document and portray a population's ideals, values, and commonalities. The New York Asian Film Festival is dedicated to showing that Asian culture is not monolithic but diverse, vibrant, and changing,and it does this by showing films from Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Taiwan, and many more!
